🔒 How To Reset Someone's Okta Password (Admins Only)

Resetting your password is a straightforward process, but only those with admin access, like your team leader or office manager, can do it.

To reset a password

1. Go to https://octoenergy.okta.com and select Admin in the top right corner. 
    

   

2. Search for the user in the search bar. 

   

3. Select Reset or Remove Password.
   
   Make sure the Send a reset password email and Sign out user boxes are ticked and then hit Reset password.
    

   

    

   

    
4. To reset authenticators (such as a phone number or Okta verify), select More Actions > Reset Authenticators > Select the methods to reset and click Reset Selected Authenticators.
